World Kids Colouring Day 2025 is here — and we couldn’t be happier

Our latest classroom competition is sure to boost your mood...

World Kids Colouring Day is on 06 May — so our latest competition has arrived just in time!

This year, we’re encouraging UK primary school pupils to explore The Shape of Happiness by taking an ordinary shape and transforming it into something extraordinary that fills them with joy. Whether they find happiness in their family and friends, their favourite food or their favourite animal — our competition resources (and bonus sheets) will encourage pupils to explore what joy means to them.

For every entry received, STAEDTLER will donate €1 to children’s charity, Plan International, to help with the implementation of climate and disaster protection and nutrition for the children in the Bokeo region, Laos.

How to take part:

To enter, simply download and complete our KS1 and/or KS2 competition sheets from our Members’ Area — and submit them by Friday 23 May.

Not a member yet? Don’t worry! You can register for FREE, here. See below for further information on how to submit your entries.

The prizes:

It wouldn’t be a Teachers’ Club competition without STAEDTLER stationery prizes up for grabs, would it? One lucky KS1 winner and one from KS2 will receive: a bumper classroom stationery bundle for their class, a personal stationery bundle, AND a winner’s certificate (all worth more than £200)!

What’s more, every teacher that enters their class will receive a personal pack of STAEDTLER whiteboard markers as a ‘thank you’ — AND if your entries are received on or before the 9th of May, an additional ‘early bird’ prize will be added!

I've downloaded the competition sheets. What's next?

1. Print the sheets for your pupils to complete.
2. Set aside some time for your pupils to explore ‘The Shape of Happiness’.
3. Collect all completed competition sheets, ensuring all pupils have included their names.
4. Download and complete the Teacher’s Slip to accompany your entries. Any entries submitted without a Teacher’s Slip will not be accepted!
5. Send us your entries and Teacher’s Slip by email or by post (details below) by 11:59pm on Friday 23 May. OR, if you want to be an early bird, ensure we receive them by 09 May!
